COSMOS ORGANIC STANDARD

 

COSMOS is an international non-profit association, which has combined various European certification guidelines to define a global standard for organic and natural cosmetics that covers all aspects of the sourcing, manufacturing, marketing and control of cosmetic products.

 

The fundamental principles of the COSMOS standard are:

 

• to promote the use of products of organic agriculture
• to respect biodiversity
• to use natural resources responsibly while respecting the environment
• to use clean manufacturing processes that honors human health and the environment
• to integrate and develop “Green Chemistry”
• to respect consumers through transparency

 

As Loupe, we proudly uphold the strict COSMOS-standard in cosmetics. We are regularly inspected for our ingredients and suppliers to ensure safety and quality along with our commitment to responsibly sourcing.

LEAPING BUNNY STANDARD

 

The Leaping Bunny Program was established by international coalition of animal protection organizations as an international gold standard for cruelty-free products in order to avoid confusion and misleading information about the definition itself and bunny logos. Today the internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo is the best assurance that companies are free of animal testing at all stages of product development.

 

Loupe has never conducted nor commissioned animal testing for any product or ingredient, and does not use animal-derived ingredients. As a recognition of our commitment to end animal testing, we are proud to be certified by Leaping Bunny.
